Convict Creek #267 The Eastern Sierras, California June 2017
“Met the locksmith in Mammoth and got the ignition fixed. Needed more than a new key; turns out the key tumbler itself needed replacing. Wore it out I guess, seems to be working fine now. I left there and headed north to Green Creek but the areas I wanted to shoot had campers. It's definitely getting busier: Holiday weekend coming up and the peepers are everywhere. Been a long time since I've seen this many photographers around, lots of tripods... I made my way south this morning hitting Virginia Lakes, Lundy Creek and Silver Lake. Feels like I may not be back again this year. I got a lot of pictures. I think I had one of the finest week's ever with the camera. Of course, won't know for sure till I get home.”
